ultra violet bahia

we lived for almost two month in barra, an area close to the city beach in salvador de bahia. we spent a lot of time at the beach, first during the day and then during the mornings or shortly before sunset. we used an app for fishermen to check the weather. the app was very detailed predicting for example the height of waves. it had a scale for uv sun radiation as well. the scale went from +1 for low radiation up to +11 for extreme radiation. for salvador de bahia it constantly showed a value of +14 - far beyond the scale for measuring the intensity of ultra violet light. therefor a geiger counter is introduced to measure the radiation of the sun. it´s value translates to an effect on a chosen body in each frame.

the video is part of let´s talk about the weather.
